The Roadmap

I believe in setting expectations and this roadmap serves as a way to do that. The Roadmap is based on my own experience working with clients. I want it to help you better understand the long term investment and pay off of nutrition coaching. As I tell all of my clients, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Let's build behaviors that will support you for the rest of your life!

Just Starting:

You are becoming aware of your eating patterns and triggers, keeping track of your eating without judgment. You’re learning to eat slowly and mindfully, recognizing hunger and fullness cues. You’ve started making small, consistent changes in your diet (e.g., adding more vegetables, reducing sugar). You understand the basic principles of balanced nutrition (reading nutrition labels, macronutrients). You’re drinking more water and staying hydrated consistently. Your energy and mood are showing definite improvements, probably because you're sleeping and eating better!

After A Few Months:

You’re consistently implementing balanced meals, using portion control, and making nutritious food choices without feeling deprived. You’ve established a good meal planning and meal prep routine. You’re exploring and enjoying a variety of whole foods (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and spices). You’ve become more mindful of emotional eating triggers and have started developing alternative coping strategies. You're learning more advanced nutrition knowledge (satiety hormones, glycemic index and blood sugar, polyphenols). Your hydration habits are automatic, and your energy levels are consistently better. You’re sleeping more consistently, and your digestion has noticeably improved. You’re feeling more confident and empowered around food decisions. Your relationship with food is more and more positive every week.​​

Long Term:

Your nutrition habits are an automatic, enjoyable part of your life. You are confident in adjusting your diet to match changing goals (fat loss, muscle gain, maintenance). You can easily navigate nutrition choices while traveling, eating out, or dealing with stress. You’ve developed a strong sense of body awareness and can make adjustments without stress. You have the knowledge to create balanced, satisfying meals anywhere, anytime. Your energy levels, digestion, mood, and sleep are consistently excellent. Nutrition is now a natural, enjoyable part of your life. You continue to learn about nutrition, using your knowledge to support yourself and the circle of people in your life. You've become the nutrition and fitness expert in your group of friends and family!​
